Macelleria Costa was founded in 1947, in Canale d’Agordo, thanks to the resourcefulness of “grandfather Giuseppe;” it immediately became a point of reference for the citizens of the small town. The business, over the years, has been able to update its offerings according to the needs of customers, always maintaining top quality meat.
The butcher shop’s first renovation in 1967 was followed by a more significant one in 1995, when new products were introduced:
Ready to cook: Specialties ready to be finished with cooking, prepared in the workshop by expert hands
Signature delicatessen: Cold cuts prepared according to tradition, following the old recipes, handed down from generation to generation
The Butcher Shop, today, is run by Paolo Costa’s family, Giuseppe’s son.
Together with his son Claudio, he takes care of the selection of domestic and foreign meats of different breeds in order to always offer the best meat, along with the raw materials necessary for the preparation of specialties and cured meats.
Butcher Lorenzo is in charge of deboning and cutting, while his wife Gabriella handles the production of ready-to-cook products.
